About

MVR is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit used and surplus building materials store. We collect these items through donations from valley residents and businesses then offer them for sale to the general public.

We are not affiliated with any other business though we are proud to be partners with many. Our proceeds are reinvested into the store towards rent, insurance, infrastructure, tools, office equipment and paying our employee.

We do not trade, purchase or barter for items. Our inventory is mostly items and materials that other second-hand stores in the valley do not accept as we aim to fill a void and provide a resource for them that was not previously available.

The store is really just the beginning for Matsu Valley Rebuild; we plan to expand with many different departments, services and programs to benefit the beautiful Mat-Su Valley of Alaska.
